Sorry for not posting yesterday, but I'm very busy with my final exams and packing for Munich. Tomorrow  afternoon I will leave Holland for 3 months, so I have a lot of packing to do! I hope you can forgive me;).

Photodiary week 12

Here's a new diary! This next week is my last week in Holland, then I'm going to Munich for 3 months. I'm super excited but is also a bit scary. I also got a really nice suprise party for my last weekend in Holland. Here are more pictures of what I did last week!

Hier is mijn nieuwe diary! Deze week is mijn laatste week in Nederland, daarna ga ik voor 3 maanden naar München. Ik heb er erg veel zin in, maar het is ook heel erg spannend. Ik heb zelfs ook al een suprise party gehad omdat het mijn laatste weekend in Nederland was. Zie hier nog meer foto's van afgelopen week!

Something New

Spring is finally here! Yesterday it was such great weather. Today it's going be the same according to the weather forecast, so let's hope! Here are some of the purchases of this week. Enjoy your day!

Finally it's here, the Dutch Vogue! Yesterday after my exam I quickly went to the Bijenkorf to get the first Dutch Vogyue. Unfortunately the collectors Edition was already sold out (after a half hour after the sale). But hé, I've got one and with signed by the Editor in Chief. From today you can also buy the first Dutch Vogue in other stores. If you haven't got it yet, here's a preview!

Eindelijk is die er dan, de Nederlandse Vogue! Gisteren na mijn examen ben ik snel naar de Bijenkorf gegaan om de eerste Nederlandse Vogue te bemachtigen. Jammer genoeg was de collecters editie al uitverkocht (nog geen eens één uur na de verkoop). Maar hé, ik heb er één en ook nog eens met handtekening van de hoofdredacteur. My other bag

Today I want to talk about something special. In one of these days a new Dutch Fashion community will be online, called STYLIGHT. And I can tell you that I will be a part of the STYLIGHT team. STYLIGHT is an online Fashion community where you can compare and order clothing, shoes and accessories from the best webshops. About two weeks I'm going to move to Munich (Germany) for 3 months to work (internship) at STYLIGHT. I'm really excited about this!

Spring is here!

Yesterday the weather was so nice and warm (when you were out of the wind and in the sun). I had a lovely day with in the morning a little bit of studying, lunch on terrace with a friend and then a little bit of studying in the garden. This is what I wore that day. I also wore my new name necklace, that I got from Mijnnaamketting. What did you do yesterday? Did you enjoyed the weather?

Gisteren was het echt heerlijk weer en warm (dan wel wanneer je uit de wind was en in de zon zat). Ik heb een leuke dag gehad met in de ochtend een beetje leren, lunch op het terras met een vriendin en toen weer wat leerwerk in de tuin. Dit is wat ik die dag droeg. Shoe addiction

My name is Laura and I'm a shoe addict! Yes I am and that all because of Nelly.com. They've so many amazing shoes for a good price. Yesterday I visited the site again and saw some nice new shoes. New in from Oasap

Last week I got some nice stuff again from the online store Oasap. After I got the claw ring you saw in this post, I finaly have a claw bracelet too. Besides the claw bracelet I also got a ring again, my new addiction;). 

Vorige week heb ik weer wat leuke items gekregen van de online winkel Oasap. Nadat ik mijn nieuwe klauw ring aan jullie heb laten zien in deze post heb ik ook eindelijk een klauw armband. Naast deze armband heb ik ook weer een ring gekregen, mijn nieuwe verslaving;).

A casual and grey outfit on leap day before I went to the Monki event. I'm wearing a lot of items that I haven't wore in a long time. Like these fringe boots and the bag. Should I wear them more often?

En casual en grijze outfit op schrikkeldag, voordat ik naar het Monki event ging. Ik draag veel items die ik al een langere tijd niet meer gedragen heb, zoals deze laarzen en de tas. Wat vinden jullie? Moet ik deze items weer meer gaan dragen?

Monki Sneak peek Party

Wednesday I went to the sneak peek event of the special Monki travel magazine. I had a really nice evening with fashion, music, Martini and other fellow bloggers. I also saw a lot of nice clothes/itmes, so I think I need to shop there soon;). 

Woensdag ben ik naar de sneak peek event geweest van de speciale Monki travel magazine. Ik heb een hele leuke avond gehad met Fashion, muziek, Martini en andere mede-bloggers. Ik heb ook ontzettend veel leuke kleding/items gezien, dus ik denk dat ik daar snel eens moet gaan shoppen;).

Happy Birthday The New Girl In Town!

One year ago I decided to start my own blog after following other blogs for a while. I always loved to write, to photograph and Fashion. That's why I wanted to create a place where I could share my passions and inspirations. On 2 March 2011 The New Girl In Town was born. My first post was about the Oscars. In the beginning I had a lot of these random posts but later I started to share my outfits. Now one year later I lived some great experciences and met a lot of lovely new people. Blogging is now a big big passion and that's also thanks to you guys. Thanks for all the sweet comments and the support this first year, you're incredibly! 

Because I want to thank you guys, there are coming some nice things on this blog for you. So keep a close eye on The New Girl In Town this month!

Een jaar geleden besloot ik om mijn eigen blog te beginnen nadat ik een tijd andere blogs volgde. Ik heb het altijd al leuk gevonden om te schrijven, te fotografen en natuurlijk Fashion in het algemeen. Dat is waarom ik een plek wilde creëren waar ik mijn passies en inspiraties met andere kon delen. Op 2 maart 2011 is toen The New Girl In Town geboren. Mijn eerste post ging over de Oscars. In het begin had ik veel van dit soort posts, maar later begon ik ook met outfit posts. Nu een jaar later heb ik ontzettend veel leuke dingen mogen beleven en meegemaakt, ook heb ik veel leuke en nieuwe mensen ontmoet. Bloggen is nu echt een enorme passie en dat is mede dankzij jullie. Heel erg bedankt voor de leuke en lieve reacties en jullie support, jullie zijn geweldig! 

Omdat ik jullie heel graag wil bedanken, komen er een aantal leuke dingen voor jullie op mijn blog, dus houdt The New Girl In Town goed in de gaten deze maand!
